Dave Broadfoot

    Dave Broadfoot’s role as a humorous speaker is legend. Because his humour 
    deals with universal issues, he is in constant demand for international conferences of every kind.
 
His characters - Sgt. Renfrew of the Mounties, hockey player Bobby Clobber and the Member for Kicking Horse Pass have become Canadian comic classics. He has performed on the "Ed Sullivan Show", was the first professional comedian to appear at the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C.,  and has given command performances before Queen Elizabeth.

Dave is the winner of a Juno Award for comedy recording, 13 ACTRA Awards for writing and performing comedy in radio and television, and a "Certified Speaking Professional" Award (U.S.A.).  He is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth Silver Jubilee Medal, an Honourary Doctorate from Athabasca University, and holds the rank of Honourary Staff Sergeant in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.  Dave is a veteran of C.B.C. radio’s "Royal Canadian Air Farce," and an Officer in the Order of Canada.
