Dr. Alexandra Campbell  is currently a professor at York University’s business school where she teaches graduate courses in business strategies, International Client Marketing, Client Relationship Management and Direct Marketing.  Alexandra Campbell has a background in client market strategy for a wide variety of companies dealing in both manufacturing and consumer products and professional services. Her management responsibilities have included the direction of specific client advertising campaigns, new product launches, product re-positionings and large-scale client research projects.

Dr. Campbell has extensive experience in teaching executive development courses at York University, Ryerson, and the University of Guelph.  She also conducted public and in-house courses for six years for Dun and Bradstreet.

In addition to her teaching experience, Alexandra has consulted for a variety of companies in Canada and Europe in the areas of sales management, creating a client service culture and marketing strategy development.  Her client list includes the Lawson Mardon Group, Exxon Chemical Europe, Prime Computer, Allergan, Texaco, Hershey Canada, Toronto Hydro, Ciba Geigy, Royal Doulton, Manufacturers Life Insurance, Travelers Life Insurance, Moore Business Products, and Esso Canada.

Dr. Campbell has a BA (Hons) from York University, an MBA and Phd from the University of Toronto.  Her research interests include why firms form strategic alliances, the management of service multinationals, exporting, building client relationships through direct marketing and buyer-supplier relationships.  She has published studies on the use of direct marketing by small exporters in international markets, the impact of NAFTA on small Canadian exporters, and how firms use cooperative business relationships to enhance their global competitiveness.  She has also published two books on "Creating a Winning Marketing Strategy" and "Coping with Workplace Stress".

Dr. Alexandra Campbell is a dynamic presenter who inspires her audience to rethink their client focus. Using her wide range of experience and insights, she leads executives and sales people through  a fascinating examination of their client relationships. She questions their assumptions, evaluates their suggestions and leaves them with a specific plan to achieve excellence in client focus.
