As a consultant, Raymond Ng has trained hundreds of employees in different companies on how to serve their fastest growing customers, the Chinese immigrants. His client list has included everything from major utility companies to the major banking institutions, real estate development companies and law firms to tourist professionals and fund managers.
A frequent guest on many television and radio programs, he has been interviewed on Money Talks, The Rafe Mair Show and Basic Black. He has also been described as an expert on matters related to serving Asian customers and his articles and interviews have appeared in Business in Vancouver, BC Business, The Vancouver Sun and the Western Investor.
Ng's recent book, Customers From Afar: Your Key to Serving Chinese Consumers, has received national attention and has been touted as the definitive guide to working with the Asian community in Canada. Raymond has received national coverage on the book and it’s concepts, including: -UTV, BCTV, CBC Early Edition, CKNW, CHMB, CJVB, the Marketing Magazine, the Globe and Mail, Business in Vancouver, the Province, the Ming Pao Newspaper, the Sing Tao Newspaper, and the World Journal. Raymond also writes a column for the Richmond News and the Ming Pao Newspaper.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Raymond came to Canada in 1967 as a young adult to complete his higher education. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Education from McGill University, Master of Arts from Concordia and Master of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.
