Linda Sims

Business Editor of CTV's Canada AM

Linda has spent 10 years watching business people succeed but also seeing them stumble, falter, and fail. But it is not as depressing as it sounds; she has been able to observe first hand how people turn crisis into opportunity, how mistakes teach people about themselves, and how working through the headaches that always come with running a business is the real litmus test of success.

Linda spent 20 years as a journalist at the CBC, working on such programs as THE JOURNAL and  the national business program, VENTURE, where she acted as journalist, occasional on-air host and Senior Producer.

Her reports have taken her to Europe, Japan, Mexico and South America, and she has watched Canadian business deal with free trade, globalization, and massive change through technology.

Presently, Linda is CTV’s  Business Editor for Canada AM and produces a popular real estate market program.

With a treasure chest of anecdotes, Linda Sims can cut through the business buzzwords, to real people who spend their days pushing Canada's companies forward.
